There were gluten-free waffles and a waffle maker. To remove the risk of cross contamination there was no ‘normal waffle mixture’ only gluten and lactose free. I really appreciate this as a person with allergies, as there is often a significant risk of cross contamination in for examples toasters and waffle makers etc: Thanks for comwell for treating me to my first hotel waffle since being diagnosed coeliac

The hotel was a 12 minutes walk from the station. The staff were accommodating and let us check in early since it’s the quiet season. The room was fine with 2 beds. The beds were touching so we tried to push them apart a little!! The included breakfast was the highlight. It was amazing with so many options, all beautifully laid out. One of the staff members at breakfast was very friendly and gave us lots of tips for our visit to Copenhagen.

Breakfast was excellent, although the "individual" portions of scrambled eggs required me to make a couple of visits to the breakfast buffet (I am usually quite "generous" with my serving of eggs in the morning). The Hotel is the ideal location to visit the H.C. Andersen Museum (only a few hundred meters away).

Excellent location, very close to the main pedestrian street and HC Andersen museum. There’s a little food market out the front some mornings too. The staff at reception were lovely and always helpful. Breakfast was delicious each day with a great variety. We had dinner in the hotel one night and the food was exceptional. The kitchen staff are very good!

Staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was very good with a decent amount of choice. The rooms were no-frill but very clean and confortable. The hotel was very well located close to the city center - very convenient. Not able to assess the restaurant/bar as we stayed over Christmas and new year and the restaurant/bar was closed for several days.

Good location adjacent to the new village. Comfortable nicely decorated room which had plenty of space for luggage and extremely well equipped. Very clean. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Coffee available all day in the lounge area.

The hotel was walking distance from the train station and was just across the road from the are where Hans Christian Anderson stayed. The room was a good size, larger than others we’d had in Denmark. Lovely selection of breakfast goodies.

Breakfast was great. Location is very convenient. The room was very spacious, tidy, and clean. I like that a kettle, cups, and some tea were available.

A most enjoyable stay. The highlight was your amazing barman who looked after us splendidly and with whom we had fascinating conversations about Denmark and gin! One of the highlights of our Danish holiday which included Copenhagen and Roskilde.
